Our Unique Contractors Combined Package

As a result of our many years experience dealing with contractors, we understand that although you are experts in your own field, you may not fully understand policy wordings, endorsements, and the many other complexities of the insurance world. That's were we can help.

We are 'specialist insurance brokers' and all our clients are allocated a contact at director level who will have many years experience dealing with contractors and as such can answer most queries immediately including technical contractual issues.

In the current business environment we appreciate that cost is of course always important, but you must be aware that with this type of policy you are protecting the very assets and continued existence of your business, and it is vital that the cover you hold is as wide as possible. We as a company encourage you to look at the finer details and the small print of a policy rather than just looking at the main sums insured or limits of indemnity, as that's what will matter in the unfortunate event of claim.

We are independent insurance brokers and deal with most insurers so can obtain terms from the insurance market as a whole ensuring you obtain the best terms. In addition to this, we have our own unique Contractors Combined Insurance Package which has been specifically tailored for contractors large and small and is extremely competitive. In our opinion this has the widest cover currently available.

Just Some Of The Policy Benefits:

  • No height or depths limits

  • No bona fide subcontractor warranty*

  • Substantial hired in plant & contract works sums insured

  • Commercial Legal Expenses Insurance including contract disputes cover

  • Financial Loss Extensions

* With regards to bona-fide subcontractors, we always recommend that you ensure they have adequate insurance in place. This is simply good practice and I'm sure you do this as standard. However, most, if not all standard contractors policies have endorsements which state that if in the event of a claim your subcontractor does not have valid insurance in place, then the insurer will not provide cover.

The main policy we can arrange has no such a warranty and therefore you are fully covered should this situation arise. This may seem a small point but it is very common for a main contractor to be held responsible for the actions of subcontractors and without the added protection of our policy wording, this could have far reaching financial consequences.

The policy is rated on a combination of turnover and wages which we appreciate can vary from year to year and all we ask for is a reasonable estimate for the insurance period. If you exceed these figures, full cover applies and there is no premium adjustment at the end of the year.
